If you’re looking for a way to make your ads more effective, capture more attention, and get more clients...

This article will show you exactly that.

The absolute majority of advertising doesn’t do a lot, or it’s just dead wrong. The main goal of an ad is to get new customers through your door.

I’ll show you how to make your ads attract customers, like a moth to a flame. Let's get into it.

Most ads are dead wrong because people have no idea how to make them. So what do they do?

They look at marketing from big brands like Coca Cola or Heineken and do roughly the same.

And there are 2 problems with that.

The first problem is big brands have hundreds of millions of dollars to spend on ads, and we don’t. The second bigger problem is they make ads around vague ideas like:

‘Brand building’

‘Brand name recognition’

‘Top of mind awareness’

You can’t pay the bills with “Brand building”. When you copy ads from big brands your customers will completely ignore them because they don’t care about any of that.

Now that we see the problems in traditional marketing, let’s fix them.

How to fix ads and bring in new customers?

There are two simple steps you can take to improve your ads and attract new customers. These steps work for any business.

It doesn’t matter if you are a carpenter, a dentist, a hairdresser, or any other profession we have under the sun. These two steps always work.

Step 1: W I I F M “What’s In It For Me?”

Every ad needs to do one thing to work, to catch your customers' attention. And we do that by talking about THEM.

What benefits do THEY get by buying our service?

What problems does this product solve for THEM?

How does this product make THEIR life easier?

You need to give your customers a good reason to pay attention. Otherwise, they will leave.

If you start your ad with “BRAND IDENTITY” or “WE ARE THE BEST”, your customer won’t care about it.

When a customer sees your ad, he only has one thing in his mind:

“What’s in it for me?”

If you are a chiropractor, the best thing you can say to get your customers' attention is:

“Does your neck hurt?” -> Problem they care about

“I can help you get rid of that pain.” -> How to solve it

“Call this number to set an appointment ” -> Tell them what to do

And just like that, you got their attention. It works every time.

Now with that said, let's move on to the next step.

Step 2: Research

You need to know your customers' exact situation, what problems they have, and what they want. Without this information, you are lost. Your ads will be full of empty words. This part is simple but it will take time.

When you understand what your customers are dealing with, it’s time to prepare a message they want to hear.

In the most simple terms, just tell them what they want to hear.

There are plenty of ways to do it and it’s doable for every single business, yours included. If you want to know how I would do this in your business, get in touch.
